The Telescope Making Web Ring

A Web Ring is a group of web sites that have something in common, and that are linked to each other. Anyone who visits any site on the Web Ring can with a few clicks get to any other site on the Web Ring. This makes it easy for folks who are looking to find similar sites, also gives more exposure of the sites on the Web Ring.

S*T*A*R Astronomy is proud to host the Telescope Making Web Ring. The Telescope Making Web Ring is a collection of web sites which are partly or wholely devoted to construction of astronomical equipment, such as telescopes, especially by amateurs. It began as a discussion on the Amateur Telescope Makers email list. If you are interested in building your own telescope or other astronomical equipment, this is a great place to get information.

If you have a web site which is about telescope making, please join our web ring. Commercial sites are allowed, as long as they sell products used by amateurs to build astronomical equipment. Joining the web ring gives your site greater visibility to other telescope makers, and creates a community of sites with a common interest and like related information. In order to join, you must first fill out the form below, then add some HTML to the page you submitted. The HTML you add will identify your site as a Telescope Making Web Ring member, and provide links for visitors to your site to navigate around the ring.

If you're wondering what happened to the ``old'' Telescope making Web Ring, it has been moved. The Web Ring was originally hosted by webring.com. Unfortunately, when Yahoo! bought webring.com, they changed the web ring in many ways that made it much less suitable. In order to provide the same service as the original web ring I had to move it to CrickRock.com.
