The Astrophotograph of the Month for March

This black and white photograph of the lunar South Pole region
was taken by STAR member Kay Sears.
Details are not readily available, but this image was probably around a 1/2 second exposure,
taken in August of 1971, with Kay's home made 6" f/8 Newtonian reflector,
using eyepiece projection and some form of manual drive of his pipe mount.
Film was probably Panatomic X, developed by Kay in Microdol.
