We're please that Roger has let us post these. They are good observing guides. Telescopic Companion to the Finest NGC's contains 110 NGC objects, grouped by constellation and right ascension. Telescopic Companion to the Messier Objects contains 110 Messier objects, grouped by Messier number. Here is a sample page from the Telescopic Companion to the Finest NGC's. Each page is 8.5x11", and contains:

• The constellation containing the object
• Magnitude
• Right Ascension and Declination
• NGC number
• Size and classification
• A detailed description of the object
• A coarse finder chart showing a 30 degree field
• A space for notes on the object
• Two finder chart with a 6 degree field, one is mirrored for those with right angle finders.
• Two 1 degree fields containing only field stars, on which you can sketch the object; one is mirrored for those with SCTs.

The observing guide is presented as a series of PDF files, one per page, which are placed into ZIP archives to minimize the number of downloads. Here's what's available:
