South Jersey Astronomical Club's descriptions and photos of SJSP can be found on their website. Check it out...there was a lot going on over on the other side of the field.
Despite some light pollution from Atlantic City, the site is quite dark. Friday night there was a huge fireball visible to the north at about 4 AM. Saturday night was fantastic! Seeing was absolutely phenominal that night. I have never seen so much detail on Saturn. Unfortunately, the dew was horrendous. Within minutes after sunset, dew was dripping off of equipment, tents, cars, everything! Despite the dew, we observed until about 1 AM, when thick fog rolled in and covered everything.
